This is a genuine factory Elkay 56229C Upper Shroud with Front and Side Push Bars and is used on the Elkay EZ drinking fountain and EZ water fountain.

The Elkay 56229C shroud mounts between the upper stainless steel basin (part number 55001109 for the water fountain only, or part number 0000001337 for the water fountain with bottle filler) and the main frame of the unit. The 56229C shroud assembly comes with the switches, push-bars, and wiring harness factory installed.

Great replacement product as far as fitment and speedy shipping. Elkay however could have designed it better so that the paddle itself would break and be replaceable rather than the whole housing. But, this is the world we live in.

I have several Elkay water coolers throughout different facilities and are in high traffic areas. They get a lot of abuse and it's nice to know that I can finally locate parts I need without having to purchase a "kit" filled with parts I don't need. The shroud is the first thing to crack/break so I have several on hand.

Got the part very fast, install was easy, works great, but I found other problems with our water coolers. I called in and talked to Dan and he told me exactly what I needed to fix them. I am very glad I found them, they are more then happy to help.

This was my second order from Pittsburgh Water Cooler. Both times the shipping was quick and efficient, making the down time for my units as short as possible. This shroud was easy to replace by a novice with minimal work. Save your money and do it yourself.
