Can I retrofit my water fountain with a bottle filler?
To retrofit an existing drinking fountain can be the most convenient and cost-effective way to add a water bottle filling station to your location, whether it be a school, office, airport, gym, hospital, etc. But not all drinking fountains can be retrofitted. This comes down to the make and model of your current fountain. Please see the list below for compatibility.
ELKAY
- For the EZWSRK and LZWSRK, models starting with EZS or LZS, including EZS8L, EZS8S, LZS8L, LZS8S, EZO8L, LZO8L, EZSG8L, LZSG8L, EZSTL8LC, LZSTL8LC, EZOSTL8LC, LZOSTL8LC, EZSTLG8LC, LZSTLG8LC can be retrofitted.
- For the EMABFWS-RF and LMABFWS-RF, models starting with EMABF8 or LMABF8, including EMABF8L, LMABF8L, EMABFTL8LC, EMABFTLR8LC, LMABFTL8LC can be retrofitted.
- For the EZWS-ERPB8-RF and LZWS-ERPB8-RF, Elkay SwirlFlo drinking fountains including ERPBM28K, LRPBM28K, ENOBM28K, ERPBGRNM28K, LRPBGRNM28K can be retrofitted.
- For the EZWS-ERFP8-RF and the LZWS-ERFP8-RF, Elkay Soft Sides models including ERFPM28K, LNTEM8K, EROM28K can be retrofitted.
OASIS
- For the PWSBF and the PWEBF, models including P8AC, P8AM, PF8AC, PAC, P8ACSL, PF8ACSL, PV8AC, PV8ACSL, PG8AC, PGF8AC, PG8ACSL, PGF8ACSL, PGV8AC, PGV8ACSL can be retrofitted.
- For the PWFSBF-K12, models including, P8AC, P8AM, PF8AC, PAC, P8ACSL, PF8ACSL, PV8AC, PV8ACSL, PG8AC, PGF8AC, PG8ACSL, PGF8ACSL, PGV8AC, PGV8ACSL can be retrofitted.

- For the HTHB-OVL-RF and the HTHBWF-OVL-RF, Halsey Taylor OVL-II drinking fountains including, OVL-II SER, OVLSERGRN-VR, OVLSERGRN-VRWF, OVL-II SER-EE can be retrofitted.
- For the HTHB-HRF-RF and the HTHBWF-HRF-RF, Halsey Taylor Soft Sides models including, HRF-SER and HRF-SEREE can be retrofitted.
Special note: If you do decide to retrofit your existing water fountain, we suggest taking the age of the unit into consideration before your purchase. If a retrofit kit is installed on a 10-15 year old fountain, it is a risk, like any appliance, that the fountain could break / malfunction in the near future, and you wouldn't get the full value out of the newly installed retrofit kit. In the case of older drinking fountains, consider buying a complete water fountain with bottle filler instead of just the retrofit kit. It may save you money in the long-run.
